She was born Anastasia Love Sagorsky on June 6, 1975 in Devon, Pennsylvania to her stay-at-home mother, Jacqueline, and father, Iru Sagorsky, who was a car salesman. Keanan spent her childhood days in her hometown with her sister Pilar, creating fun childhood memories with them.

She joined the American theater company Summer Stock Theater where she appeared in various stage performances before appearing in her first television series I’ll Take Manhattan in 1987.
After making her television debut, she was hired to play the character of Nicole Bradford – a young girl whose two fathers fought for their love on the family sitcom My Two Fathers from 1987 to 1990. She later appeared on the ABC sitcom Places Go (1990-1991) as Lindsay Bowen and the TV series Step by Step (1990-1998).
She was part of the cast of the Christian drama drama Sarah’s Choice where she played Denise. The film was directed by Chad Kapper. She starred in the film alongside Rebecca St. James, a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter, Logan White, Dick Van Patten, Brad Stine (Christian comedian) and Charlene Tilton.
The film tells the story of a woman who found out she was pregnant at the doctor’s office and was considering having an abortion. She meets a mysterious lady who gives her a card and says that the Lord will give her three visions that he made that made the woman think about having an abortion. The film began airing on the Trinity Broadcasting Network in the later months of 2009.
